Attendify runs on each employee's own smartphone, so every worker needs a phone. If part of your team can't use one, that's the single case where a physical biometric device still fits — as we say plainly in the comparison above. For everyone else, their own phone is the check-in device, and GPS + device binding + a check-in photo handle the verification.
We detect mock-location apps and block them. Combined with device binding (one phone per employee) and optional photo capture at check-in, faking a check-in is significantly harder than fooling a fingerprint scanner.
Yes, the hardware is sunk. But the maintenance contract, IT visits, and per-branch quotes when you expand are not. Most teams recover the cost of switching within 4 months just by dropping the maintenance contract.
